Our Alpine climbing guiding and instruction takes place in the Swiss, French and Italian Alps.
I’ve logged thousands of pitches on ice throughout my career, climbing across the globe from New Zealand to Alaska, Iceland to India, Norway to Nepal, and throughout North America and the Alps.
If it involves skis, there’s a good chance I’ve guided it — from off-piste and ski touring to ski mountaineering and ski-rando objectives. Each year, I work with individuals and private groups across the Alps to help them reach their goals, whether that’s a classic descent like the Vallée Blanche, a multi-day ski tour, or preparation for demanding ski mountaineering races such as the Patrouille des Glaciers.
The Haute Route – The High Road – is arguably one of the most famous and magnificent ski traverses in the world. During the 6 days it takes to travel on skis from Chamonix to Zermatt, you will be immersed in the world of the high mountains: skiing on glaciers surrounded by dramatic 4000m peaks during the day, and enjoying the comfort of mountain huts after a long day out.
Avalanche education is a life long process of learning about snow and understanding the interaction of snow and its environment, and your own interaction with snow.
